Ms. Cantwell is a consumer attorney concentrating her practice in the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and related California consumer protection statutes. Ms. Cantwell joined Krohn & Moss in April 2010, and advocates on behalf of consumers who are harassed by abusive, deceptive, and unfair collection practices by debt collectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cantwell served as Legislative Aide to the President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, crafting legislation and advising on policy and legal issues. Ms. Cantwell has worked in a variety of litigation areas, including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic personal injury, products liability, construction defect, and maritime law. Ms. Cantwell also performs pro bono work in family law.

Ms. Cantwell received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University in 2007, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Oklahoma State University in 2002. During law school, Ms. Cantwell served on the Moot Court Board and participated in Mock trial.
